Design that feels like home—with a little extra personality
At Honey and Fitz, we believe great design doesn’t have to be precious. Our spaces are rooted in timeless style, layered with color, pattern, and thoughtful detail—but always grounded in real life. Whether you’re chasing the dream kitchen, reimagining a tired living room, or starting fresh in a new home, we bring the creativity (and the spreadsheets) to help make it happen—beautifully.
Traditional New England, with a twist
Founded in 2014 by designer Dina Holland, Honey and Fitz is a full-service interior design studio known for its spirited mix of classic design, unexpected details, and practical magic.
We specialize in residential interiors that balance form and function, style and substance. Our work is deeply informed by traditional design principles—symmetry, scale, craftsmanship—but we love breaking a few rules in the name of fun, personality, or a great fabric.
Whether we’re designing from the ground up or updating a well-loved space, our goal is the same:
to create a home that feels like you, only better
Dina Holland
Founder & Creative Director
With over a decade of experience, Dina Holland has built a reputation for creating homes that are as vibrant and full of personality as the families who live in them. Known for her signature color-and-pattern-forward style, Dina blends function with beauty to design spaces that feel uniquely personal, layered, and timeless.
As the Founder and Creative Director of Honey and Fitz Interiors, Dina has spent more than 10 years guiding clients through every detail of the design process—from the big-picture vision to the smallest finishing touch. Her keen eye for mixing color, pattern, and texture transforms houses into joyful, lived-in homes that tell a story.
Outside the studio, Dina is the proud mom of two teenage boys and one equally spirited French bulldog, Parmigiano Reggiano (“Reggie” for short). When she’s not designing, you can find her laughing with girlfriends, traveling with her boys, or recharging at the gym.
Ariana Paolino
Lead Project Designer
Ariana came to Honey and Fitz Interiors in 2018 after graduating the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Merchandise, and Design. Since then, she has become integral to the office dynamics as well as the creative direction of all projects.
Ariana’s knack for color and pattern mixing, attention to detail, and ability to consider each room she designs as a piece of a larger puzzle leads to homes that feel unique, cohesive, and considered. In addition to her keen design eye, Ariana brings her sense of realism, wide-ranging music library, and freakishly good memory to work every day.
Ariana lives in Auburn with her fiancé, Steve, and two cats, Finley and Nola. When she isn’t working, you will find her reading, puzzling, or (for the 3 months New England allows) at the beach.
Krissy Smith
Procurement Manager
Krissy is a seasoned project manager with over 20 years of experience ranging from marketing agencies to real estate development. In 2022, she joined Honey and Fitz Interiors, making a bold pivot to an industry that better aligns with her passions.
As Procurement Manager, Krissy is the team’s go-to for project tracking and issue resolution. Armed with a well-stocked project management toolbox— attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and unwavering follow-through—she ensures every project runs smoothly and efficiently. Her style? Uniquely optimistic and consistently results-driven.
When she’s not keeping projects on track, Krissy embraces her “weekend warrior” spirit. In winter, you can find her skiing the slopes of New England; in summer, her happy place is Green Hill Beach, Rhode Island. A lover of travel, dog walks, and the occasional 5K, Krissy calls Natick home, where she lives with her husband, two boys, and their yellow lab, Benson.
